Sweden Radio | The Arab Book Fair for Children is "virtual" this year

• Two years after the first session of the Arabic Children's Book Fair, the organizing committee launched the second edition of the fair on a virtual digital platform.

• The fair will run for one month between February 18 and March 18.

• Cultural activist Alaa Barghouti, Executive Director of the event's organizing body, told the radio that the timing of the fair during the schools' winter break was chosen to encourage children to read and create a new activity for them amid the closure of most events due to the pandemic.
