The book contains 64 exchanged letters between the two poets, Zaher al-Jizani and Khazal al-Majidi. The letters discuss the establishment of the seventies poetic generation in Iraq and the journey of the two poets up to the present day. They reveal many facts about that period and the poetic achievements of this important poetic generation in Iraq, as well as the paradoxes of poetry, politics, and war in a country that experienced difficult political and cultural turmoil in the last quarter of the twentieth century.
