Religion and Metaphysical Alienation

199 kr

All the ideas in this book are based on understanding religion as an existential need that protects humans from metaphysical alienation. It is founded on a definition of religion as a life within the horizon of meaning, imposed by the human existential need to produce spiritual, moral, and aesthetic meaning for their individual and societal life. Most of our problems lie in the expansion and inflation of this need and its squandering of other needs, swallowing everything in people's lives in our societies. Many of the problems of the Islamic world are due to the failure to recognize the true field of religion, the limits of its mission in human life, and the consequent dominance of religion over other fields of life, disrupting the function of reason, science, and knowledge, and neglecting the value of accumulating human experience and its impact on construction and development. God did not grant a special right to anyone to monopolize His representation on earth, and that only they are exclusively authorized to speak in His name, and allowed to persecute people in God's name, violating their dignity, and squandering their rights and freedoms, in the name of defending God, "For indeed, Allah is self-sufficient from the worlds." God created people free.
