America - Kafka
Kafka's first novel, also known as "The Man Who Disappeared," was first published in 1927, after Kafka's death. In various discussions, Kafka always referred to this book as "his American novel," and the first chapter of the novel appeared separately during Kafka's lifetime in 1913 under the title "The Stoker." The novel includes many details about the experiences of Kafka's relatives in America.
