Book Two: 1Q84

The story takes place in 1984 and is divided into three parts. The first part runs from April to June, the second from July to September, and the third from October to December. The narrative unfolds through two main characters, Aomame and Tengo, who alternate chapters, each recounting events from their personal perspective. Later, in the third part, Ushikawa joins the narration, telling the events from his perspective in dedicated chapters.
