Ahem ahem .. excuse me please.

This book won the "Etisalat Award for Arabic Children's Literature" / Book of the Year category. Every day, Karkar emerges from the forest and passes by his friends and neighbors, greeting this one and shaking hands with that one, waiting for this or that person to pass, greeting everyone, and asking for permission to pass by saying, "Please let me pass," a phrase that is enough to clear the way and gladden the heart.
