The State Question
The book explores a discipline with a fundamental intersection with two of the most important humanities, political science and sociology; namely, the philosophy of state formation and its theories. Bishara attempts to establish a different perspective on this matter, proposing the challenge of formulating a critical human concept of the state that takes into account all the criticisms directed at state concepts by moral and political philosophies, political science, sociology, and law, whether from communal, liberal, or Marxist perspectives. It also reviews the effects of globalization and the post-state era.
