Suhayb, an American engineer of Iraqi origin, makes a business visit to the city of Mosul, which he has never seen before. He is there to present an architectural design for the reconstruction of the Shrine of Prophet Jonah, which ISIS blew up during its control of the city. However, this business trip brings him together with relatives he doesn't know due to a family rift that occurred before his birth. Suhayb gradually discovers that he has entered a crypt full of hidden secrets. The visit turns into an internal journey not only for Suhayb but also for his relatives, who gradually discover that they are all similar, connected not only by kinship but also by a deep secret they all must confront.
