This religion did not reach us on a silver platter, but rather on a platter of hardship! It reached us through the bodies of the Companions, pierced by spears and cut by swords! It reached us through a river of their blood and mountains of their remains! ...It reached us through their wealth, their migration, their jihad, and their steadfastness. These are three hundred messages from the Companions. I chose them to be comprehensive of all aspects of life in relationships and dealings, love, marriage and family, neighbors, work, and friends.
