Spirit of education
The first call for the development and improvement of education was French. French education in schools and universities at the end of the nineteenth century had reached a great stage of deterioration, as the author sees it, so large committees were formed to examine this issue, and why not?! The path to any real renaissance depends on the soundness and quality of education, which cannot be achieved as long as the educational method is limited to measuring the student's ability to memorize and recall information that they quickly forget after the exam, while the ultimate goal of education is to create generations with sound character capable of solving their society's problems and dealing with the challenges of the age.
